Antique 18th Century Chinese Chippendale Shelf Unit
This is an absolute gem of a shelf unit. Dating back to the late 18th century c1790. A beautiful mahogany free standing or wall hanging shelf unit with 3 small drawers. These are known as waterfall shelves due to the tied width from top to bottom shelf. The oriental style is known as Chinese Chippendale with its bamboo trellis design on the sides. The oriental theme continues with the ornate panelling along the drawers and sides of the unit. This is also a great example with only minor signs of use, everything is sturdy and no damage at all. A very rare piece and perfect for displaying your treasures or for keeping your finest books on display.
